AWAZEL Company was established in 1981
with the opening of an oxidation plant & membrane
production lines in Jeddah & Riyadh to become the
largest and most comprehensive manufacturer of bitumen
(Asphalt) based waterproofing material in the Middle
East. We export our products to GCC, Middle East,
Southern East Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe. "Straight Run" bitumen is taken from the refinery and upgraded by an oxidation process into grades defined by melting temperatures and resistance to penetration. This bitumen is used to manufacture roofing felts & membranes in rolls having a variety of inner bases, i.e., paper, jute, Woven glass, polyester fabrics. Bitumen is also modified with APP (Atactic Polypropylene). SBS (Styrene Butadiene Styrene) etc.. to improve its performance as roofing / tanking membrane. We use a high end advanced technology of production, manufacturing that confirms to ASTM, BS, DIN & European & Canadian Standards.
